The Bridge to Hell is episode ten of the Appare-Ranman! anime series.
Plot[]
The race once again begins in North Platte, Nebraska. In the beginning, it's a close race between Dylan and TJ, but the two are passed by Jing who takes the lead. The Bad Brothers gain a lead over Appare, but his car engages its hybrid engine. As this goes on, the passengers riding on the nearby train are treated to a spectacle where it'll be a minor race between the train and the racers. Sophia and Richard sit together and talk about the future of the race until Richard is summoned by someone. That person is his employer who rebukes him for retiring from the race going against why he was hired in the first place. In response to his reprimanding, Richard throws his employer out the window and heads to the back to where he sat with Sophia. Reunited with her, he reveals his true identity and calls out to his allies to hijack the train.
All of the racers see this and the train stops midway across the bridge. From it runs Richard who faints closeby to the racers onto the ground. Dylan warns the group to not be fooled by the act and amused by Dylan's astuteness, Richard reveals himself as the real Gil T. Cigar. When Al asks about Sophia's safety, Gil throws Sophia's bloodied hat toward him. This triggers Al who tries to attack Gil, but is handily beaten by the outlaw. TJ and Dylan then confront Gil who then summons his men to surround the other racers. A fight between TJ and Gil then breaks out and TJ is handily beaten as well making Dylan take the baton. Their fight doesn't last long, however, as the passengers on the train except for Sophia who is kept on there as a hostage.
Before Gil leaves the scene, he taunts Dylan about the loss of his woman Claudia and Hototo about killing his mother next. Gil then demands a 1.51 million dollars ransom from B.I.G. Boss for the hostages and sabotages the racers' cars. In the middle of it, Appare has an outburst which makes Gil fire at him, but Kosame takes the bullet instead. Wanting to waste no more time, Gil leaves on the train and one of his crew destroys the bridge as it sets off. Meanwhile, Appare and his group tend to the wounded Kosame who slowly loses consciousness due to his bullet wound.
